Boy Have Times Changed

I wanted to share a recent discussion I had with others in my industry about all the changes over the past 10 years.
Remember when job posting were printed out in a news papers, then we had to write them a letter and stick our black and white 8x10 headshot in the mail and hope to hear back from them a week later? Now everything is on one line and you can be instantly booked with a click of a button. All talent has to do is sign up for all the possible casting sites out there. A majority of them are free especially if you add your agency's representation to your profiles and you immediately doubles your changes on being booking on your next big project.

A few helpful hints; Casting agencies receive hundred of submissions a day and people can get lost in the shuffle. So its always advised that everyone add their name to their head shots, full body shots, comp cards, and modeling portfolio images. While we're at it, make sure they are professional images. Professional modeling agencies can not accept and submit selfies or cropped out images with other peoples hands still around your waist in the photos. If you want to agencies to take you seriously then be up to par with your competition and make sure you have the right tools for your craft before you even begin marketing your self. A resume is always super important too. Even if you are just starting out in the industry it's best to list any sort of work you have done, training you have completed, and reference you have worked it so we can get a better idea of who you are and what you are trying to accomplish cialis brand online. With out a headshot and resume you won't be able to do much. The more you have on your profiles the better. An acting reel is always suggested too, video is all the rage these days.

It's not all about fashion week! The modeling world goes year round on all sorts of opportunities. Their are agencies out there that specialize in just about even job you can possibly think of and that you may not even have heard of before. Do you research marketing before you go out and show off your model look book at every open call.
